When you've just started your new job and someone sidles up to you and hands you a magazine with a birthday card stashed inside it. "Sign it and pass it on..." they whisper.

But you don't even know the person who the card is for and you don't now who you should pass it on to. It could even be that the person you pass it on to is the person it is intended for.

It's a minefield, is it not?
